This malleable iron 90° beaded Elbow Fig 90 is manufactured in accordance with German DIN standards, used for 90° directional change in piping systems. Made of high-quality black heart malleable iron via high-temperature graphitizing annealing, the beaded edge design strengthens port rigidity and prevents installation deformation. Features high-precision threads and reliable sealing. Available in black, electro-galvanized or hot-dip galvanized finish, corrosion-resistant and easy to install. Widely used in water, gas, steam, fire protection and industrial low-pressure fluid pipelines complying with European standards.

Installation and Maintenance

Installation

Inspect the bead Elbow Fig 90 for cracks or deformation, ensuring the bead and threads are intact.
Clean impurities from the pipe end and internal threads.
Wind PTFE tape clockwise on the external threads or apply sealant.
Tighten evenly with a wrench; avoid over-tightening to prevent damage to the bead.
Conduct a pressure test after installation to ensure no leakage.

Maintenance

Regularly inspect joints for leakage, looseness and corrosion.
Reapply anti-rust treatment for outdoor or humid environments.
