This malleable iron Compression Coupling(LCC) A197 NPT is manufactured in accordance with ASTM standards. It connects pipes by compressing sealing rings, without threading or welding, enabling quick and easy installation. Made of high-quality black heart malleable iron with high-temperature annealing, it features good toughness, high strength and impact resistance with reliable sealing structure. Available in black, electro-galvanized or hot-dip galvanized finish, it is corrosion-resistant and easy to install, widely used in water, gas, fire protection and various low-pressure industrial fluid piping systems.

Installation and Maintenance

Installation

Inspect the Compression Coupling(LCC) A197 NPTbefore installation to ensure no cracks, deformation and intact gaskets
Cut pipe ends flat, remove burrs and clean pipe surface
Slide nut, compression ring and seal onto pipe in order
Insert pipe fully into coupling body and tighten nut evenly
Pressure test after installation; put into use only after confirming no leakage and looseness

Maintenance

Regularly check joints for leakage, loose nuts and surface corrosion
Apply anti-rust treatment regularly for outdoor or humid environments
Replace gaskets in time if aging, cracking or leakage occurs
