Product Overview

This malleable iron Wall Elbow Fig 3221 BSPT is manufactured in accordance with BS EN standards. It is designed for 90° direction change where pipes come out of walls or panels, with a built-in locating structure for neat and tidy installation. It is widely used for exposed piping, equipment connections and wall outlets.

Made of high-quality black heart malleable iron with high-temperature annealing, it features good toughness, stable pressure resistance and high strength. With precise threads and reliable sealing, it provides excellent corrosion resistance with electro-galvanized, hot-dip galvanized or black finish. Suitable for water, gas, fire fighting, HVAC and industrial low-pressure fluid pipelines.

Installation and Maintenance

Installation

1. Inspect the Wall Elbow Fig 3221 BSPTfor cracks, sand holes and intact threads before installation
2. Clean impurities and burrs at pipe ends and threads
3. Wrap PTFE tape clockwise or apply sealant on male threads
4. Position the elbow tightly against the wall and tighten nuts evenly
5. Pressure test after installation and use only after no leakage is confirmed

Maintenance

1. Regularly check joints for leakage, looseness and corrosion
2. Avoid impact to prevent deformation or cracking
3. Apply anti-rust paint in humid environments
4. Replace immediately if damaged, worn or leaking
