Installation and Maintenance

Installation

Inspect the Round Cap Fig 300 A197 NPTbefore installation to ensure no sand holes, cracks, deformation and intact threads
Clean iron chips, dust and debris at pipe ends to keep connecting surfaces clean
Wind PTFE tape clockwise or apply pipe thread sealant on male threads
After hand-tightening, use a pipe wrench to tighten evenly to avoid cracking due to excessive force
