Malleable Iron Cross Over is essential component in a variety of piping systems, known for their strength and versatility.
This product is a Crossover Fig 85 BSPT (bridge bend) made of malleable iron with galvanized surface treatment, mainly used at pipeline intersections to allow pipes to cross over each other without interference. It is widely used in fire fighting, water supply and drainage, gas, plumbing and other piping systems.
Adopting precision casting and high-temperature annealing, it features compact structure, good toughness and resistance to cracking. The uniform galvanized coating provides excellent corrosion resistance. With clear and smooth threads, it is easy to install with high tightness, suitable for safe conveying of water, oil, gas, steam and other media.
Sizes range from DN15(1/2″) to DN100(4″). The firm galvanized layer makes it suitable for various indoor and outdoor pipeline installations, especially for fire sprinkler and plumbing systems with compact layout and dense pipelines.

Compatibility:
Matching with galvanized steel pipes, malleable iron fittings, PPR male adapters, etc.
PTFE tape or thread sealant recommended for better sealing.
Installation:
Inspect the bridge bend for cracks, sand holes and intact threads
Wrap PTFE tape or apply sealant on male threads
Align with crossing pipes, screw by hand then tighten evenly with a pipe wrench
Avoid over-tightening to prevent cracking
Maintenance:
Regularly check joints for leakage and rust
Touch up with anti-rust paint for outdoor or humid locations
Replace immediately if deformation, leakage or serious coating damage occurs
