Product Applications

• Intended Use: Used for same-diameter straight pipe connection in fire sprinkler systems, water supply & drainage systems, industrial fluid pipelines; suitable for commercial buildings, industrial plants, residential areas, hotels, shopping malls; compatible with Class A fire protection piping.
• Compatibility: Can be matched with galvanized steel pipes, carbon steel pipes, malleable iron fittings, valves and fire sprinkler components meeting NPT/BSPT standards.

Installation and Maintenance

1. Clean pipe threads and inner wall of the coupling, remove burrs, dust and impurities.
2. Wrap PTFE tape or apply liquid sealant evenly on male threads of the pipes.
3. Screw two pipes into both ends of the coupling by hand until preliminarily tightened.
4. Tighten the pipes symmetrically with a wrench to ensure sealing, avoid over-tightening to damage the fitting.
5. Conduct pipeline pressure test after installation to ensure no leakage at connections.

Maintenance Tips

① Inspection Schedule: Visual inspection quarterly; monthly in corrosive environments, checking signs of corrosion, deformation, looseness and leakage.

② Cleaning Method: Wipe the fitting surface with clean soft cloth; do not use sharp tools or corrosive chemical solvents.

③ Replacement Cycle: Replace after 15–20 years of normal use or immediately if damaged, sealing failed or structurally deformed.
